Toshiba → Toshiba Satellite U205-S5044 Notebook
Another addition to the ultra-thin and lightweight Toshiba Satellite U series of notebooks is the U205-S5044. Like the S5034, the U205-S5044 runs on an Intel Core 2 Duo processor - the T7200, running at 2GHz. With 2GB of main memory, the laptop is well-prepared for providing a complete multimedia experience.
The screen is a 12.1" TruBrite TFT LCD with a display resolution of 1280x800 pixels (native WXGA). There's no separate graphics card on this: it employs Intel's GMA 950 (Graphics Media Accelerator) which shares 8MB-128MB with the main memory.
Toshiba → Toshiba Satellite U205-S5034 Notebook
Thin is in. At least that's what Toshiba's statement seems to be with the new ultra-portable Toshiba Satellite U205-S5034 notebook PC. With a smallish 12.1" widescreen LCD that employs TruBrite technology, the U205-S5034 is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T5200 processor running at 1.6GHz.
At just 1.34", this baby is slim and weighs just 4.1 pounds. In order to enhance the security, stability and performance of the laptop, it is bundled with Toshiba's LifeSmart Technology. These include shock absorbers that protect the hard drive in case of a drop, a spill-resistant keyboard (those of you that drink coffee while working, raise your hands) as well as a fingerprint reader.
