SONY → Sony Under Investigation by US Department of Justice

Problems over at Sony HQ don't seem to end. This week, Sony received a subpoena from the US Department of Justice seeking information on Sony's SRAM business. The inquiry looks into specific memory products that Sony makes. The SRAM products are distributed globally but details on which customers buy from Sony were not revealed. In Sony's defense, it isn't the only company currently under DoJ investigation. Samsung Electronics Co., Elpida Memory Inc., Infineon Technologies AG and Hynix Semiconductor Inc. are all under investigation.
