ASUS plans to launch an 11.6” Eee PC netbook later this month, according to the man himself, Jerry Shen, ASUS CEO. ASUS is not expecting it to be as popular as their 10” Eee PC range though.

Lenovo was working on a new Lenovo netbook.

What’s new with the Lenovo IdeaPad S10-2?

• Redesign - Rounded edges, different hinge.
  
• 8-32GB SSD options
• 3G Support / SIM card behind battery
  
• Wireless Switch • ExpressCard/34 slot removed
• Extra USB port (total of 3)
  
• Shrunken, pushed down arrows keys like on AAO.
• Larger sized trackpad • Ports/buttons/LED re-arrangements
  
• Battery shape has changed
  
• Double access bays to access HDD, RAM and now Wi-Fi.
  

Processor, RAM and screen specs are still unknown. 1.3MP Webcam like on the S10e.
